Kennebec River, Augusta, ME (Fishing)

Best Months to Fish: June and July
Fishing Methods: Plugs, fly fishing and jigs

Directions:
From I-95, take Western Avenue (exit 30) for 1 1/2 miles east to State Street (route 27). About a mile north on State Street, take a right onto Bond Street and drive down to the river. Morse River, Phippsburg, ME (Fishing)

Fishing Methods: Plugs and Fly fishing
Species: Bluefish and striped bass

Directions: From Route 1 in Bath, take Route 209 south, following signs to Popham Beach State Park. A dune trail from the parking area leads to the shore. Popham Beach, Phippsburg, ME (Fishing)

Best Months to Fish: June through October but best is July
Fishing Methods: Plugs, Chunk baits, and Fly fishing
Species: Bluefish and striped bass and mackerel

Directions: Take route 209 south from route 1 in bath and stay on it to land's end at Fort Popham
